CIWM (WAMITAB) Qualifications

Waste Management Qualifications 

We are an award winning centre approved to deliver the full range of CIWM (WAMITAB) qualifications nationwide.

Delivering everything from level 4 technical competence, to level 1 qualifications suitable for those in an operative role, or those new entrants in the waste and resource sector.

We are able to deliver two differing formats depending on the qualification required. The first is taught and tested which includes training before being tested, such the CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 4 Certificate in Waste and Resource Management - VRQ, which is an alternative route to achieve technical competence for a permitted facility.

The second option is the more traditional on site assessment, which requires one of our competent Assessors to visit the site to assess the Learner over a number of visits, which varies depending on the size of qualification required.

Over time you will build a portfolio which demonstrates that you have the required knowledge and skills.

MPQC (VQ) Qualifications

Extractives & Mineral Processing Qualifications

Here you can access all of the MPQC qualifications that are available nationwide.

From Level 7 in Health, Safety and Environmental Management to level 2 qualifications suitable for those operating mobile plant or carrying out processing operations.

These qualifications are suitable for those involved in operations such as block works, tar (asphalt) plants as well as those directly working inside a quarry or facility falling under the Quarries Regulations 1999.

Delivered on site, you will be required to build up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence, in the areas relevant to your chosen qualification.

This will include a number of assessment visits by one of our competent assessors, who will set you tasks, provide mentoring and support, as well as being on hand to guide you through the process!

Waste and Extractives Training

Here you can access information on all the training we offer, from development of bespoke training courses, continuing competence refreshers, as well as more main stream training such as hazardous waste, duty of care and waste and environmental legislation.

We have years of experience developing and delivering training, qualifications and apprenticeships and in recent years we have delivered qualifications and training to the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

In addition to the MPQC vocational qualifications we deliver, we have partnered with DH Training who deliver mobile plant training and red card assessments nationwide. 

Accredited by MPQC and AITT they are able to offer training for those in waste, extractives and construction sectors.
