Centre Review

The centre will review your booking, before issuing some additional enrolment forms to complete.

Submit payment

Once the administration is complete, an invoice will be raised. Once settled we will allocate an Assessor who will contact you to schedule an induction within 10 working days.

Induction & Assessment

The first visit with your assessor will be an induction. This will explain whats required to achieve the award, as well as the centre and awarding organisations policies. You will then plan visits based on the work set by your assessor and taking into account your available time.

Complete Award

Once you and your assessor have completed the award, it will then pass to an allocated internal quality assurer (IQA), who will review the award, contents and process to ensure it aligns with the standard required. Only after this can the award be considered complete.

Certification

Once the award is complete, and the IQA has submitted their report, we will then look to claim the award from the awarding organisation. This can typically take 15 to 20 clear working days, from the date of claim. Once we receive the certificate at the centre, we will provide you or your organisation with a copy, prior to sending the original in the post.

The qualification process would include a number of visits by one of our competent Assessors.

The first assessment visit will include an induction, to explain the process, as well as the Centre and awarding organisation’s policies, practices and procedures.

Each Delegate will need to complete the 6 Mandatory units listed below:

    Mandatory Units:

Don’t worry, you will plan each assessment visit with your Assessor to allow time to complete the work required!

When your Assessor arrives on site, he or she will be looking to observe you carrying out your daily duties, asking questions about the tasks you carry out, looking at the documentation and getting you to explain the various processes relevant to weighbridge operations.
