CIWM is the Awarding Organisation and End Point Assessment Organisation for all qualifications and apprenticeships previously offered by WAMITAB (the Waste Management Industry Training & Advisory Board)
CIWM develops qualifications for those working in: waste management and recycling, cleaning and street cleansing, facilities management and parking.

The Mineral Products Qualifications Council (MPQC)
The Mineral Products Qualifications Council (MPQC) was established in 1983 to help develop and maintain industry training needs and was originally known as Quarry Products Training Company Ltd.
They are a ‘not for profit’ membership organisation whose members are derived from the quarrying, mineral products, mining, construction and related manufacturing sectors.
MPQC members cover a wide breadth of the mineral products industry and range form sole traders to multi-national corporations.

British Aggregates Association
The British Aggregates Association was formed in 1999 and is now firmly established as the voice of the UK’s independent SME quarry operators. The BAA is run on a daily basis by people experienced in all aspects of the minerals industry. The association provides essential support and advice in all health and safety, planning, technical and regulatory issues; whilst ensuring that the voice of the independent sector is heard.

UROC
UROC is the voice of Independent Operators and since its formation, as a not-for-profit organisation in 2012, it has been highly effective and successful in advocating for and communicating the views of Operators with great influence over decision making from grass roots to Government, Regulators and Legislatures. Chartered Institution of Wastes Management
CIWM was founded in 1898. CIWM is the leading professional membership body for people working in or with the resource and waste management sector.
It supports its members to be successful in their roles by providing technical and career advice, information, training and networking.
It sets and maintains professional standards, developing and sharing knowledge and best practice.
