CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 1 Diploma in Recycling Activities (GROC1, GRORP1, GROWE1, GROWEC1)

Delivered on site, you will be required to build up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence in areas relevant to your roles and responsibilities.


This will include a number of assessment visits by one of our competent assessors, who will set you tasks, provide mentoring and support as well as being on hand to guide you through the process!

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 2 Diploma for Sustainable Recycling Activities (SRA2, SRAC2, SRAP2, SRARS2, SRAWE2)

Assessed on site in the work environment, This qualification suits operatives working in either collections, waste transfer and treatment facilities, WEEE recycling and more general waste operations! 


The mandatory units within the award cover health and safety, sustainability, communication and promoting recycling, whereas the optional unit group can be tailored to the individual looking at processing operations, waste acceptance, and use of plant equipment and machinery to name but a few.

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 2 Certificate for Sustainable Waste Management Operative (Waste Collection Driver) (SWMCD2)

Assessed on site in the work environment, this qualification is suitable for new and existing drivers involved in transporting waste.


The mandatory units within the award cover customer service, communication and the more managerial/supervisory aspects, whereas the optional unit group can be tailored to the individual looking at the loading of vehicles depending on the types of waste you deal with, such as hazardous, non-hazardous or inert waste or a range of those wastes, as well as additional pathways for those involved in other duties.

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 2 Certificate for Waste and Resource Management Operative (WRO2)

This is the ideal qualification for those in an operative role regardless of facility type. The process starts with training course providing awareness of the waste and resource industry, and essential elements such as health and safety, environmental protection and sustainability.  


Once the training is complete, you will be required to complete a multiple choice question paper, covering a range of topics learnt during your training. This is a great way of ensuring your staff have the essential knowledge to carry out their duties safely and complaintly.

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Sustainable Resource Management (PSRM3)

This qualification is assessed using variable methods of assessment, which ultimately depend on the units selected.


Some units are made up of knowledge and therefor require the Learner to complete a range of knowledge questions, while other units are based around practical implementation of processes and procedures.


This process would be assessed on site in the work environment to allow the Learner to demonstrate he or she has the required knowledge and skills to supervise waste activities.

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 3 Diploma for Sustainable Recycling Activities (Supervisory) (SRASUP3) (Reuse Pathway: SRARSUP3)

This qualification has two pathways, the first being a general pathway suitable for a range of individuals such as those employed at transfer stations, HWRC's or waste collections. The second pathway is re-use, which is suitable for charity shops and other re-use facilities.

CIWM (WAMITAB) Level 3 Award in Health and Safety Supervision for Resource and Waste Management Sector (HSSRWM3)

This qualification starts with a training course as part of the process, making it ideal for new and experienced managers, supervisors, compliance teams and anyone looking to achieve a formal health and safety specific waste sector qualification.


This enables those attending to relate and more importantly apply there knowledge and skills in the work environment. This qualification includes a training course, and then the learner will be assessed via a multiple choice question paper test and completion of a reflective work project.


Because of the nature of this qualification, it does require access to a facility in order to achieve it.
